The Group is very fortunate to possess a modern Headquarters building (constructed in
1996) which has a large hall, boathouse, office, kitchen, toilets and changing facilities with good modern showers.
We are well-equipped for water activities with sea and general purpose kayaks, Canadian canoes, two Wayfarer dinghies, one Comet dinghy and six Topper Topaz dinghies. We also possess extensive equipment for camping.
Perhaps our greatest asset is our location. Our Headquarters is situated adjacent to Keyhaven River (which leads into the Solent), with direct access to the river only a few metres from the boathouse. Keyhaven is a wonderful place to sail and kayak as it is normally devoid of substantial river traffic which so often is a feature of our overcrowded waters.
Our watersports instructors hold qualifications from the RYA and BCU.
